These terms apply to the public SternBench website at sternbench.com. They govern your access to and use of the public website, its informational pages, and its email-based contact path.

The public website is operated by 1577750 B.C. Ltd., doing business as SternBench. These terms do not replace the separate service terms, privacy notices, or commercial agreements that may apply to SternBench Search, SternBench Research, or SternBench Assistant.

You may use the public website for lawful informational and business purposes, including learning about the SternBench product family and contacting SternBench about a product or demo.

You may not use the website in a way that interferes with the site, bypasses security, attempts unauthorized access, misrepresents your identity or affiliation, or violates applicable law.

No legal advice

The public website is provided for general informational purposes only. Nothing on the public website is legal advice and nothing on the site creates a lawyer-client, advisory, or fiduciary relationship.

Intellectual property

The public website, including its text, design, layout, branding, logos, graphics, and other content, is owned by SternBench or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except for ordinary personal or internal business review of the site, you may not reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit website content without prior written permission.

Automated access and misuse

You may not scrape, crawl, harvest, index, frame, mirror, or otherwise collect website content or data by automated means except as permitted by ordinary search-engine indexing or by SternBench's written permission.

You may not introduce malicious code, attempt to probe or test the site's security, or use the public website to build or support a competing dataset, service, or model from website materials.

Third-party sites and product surfaces

The public website may link to separate SternBench product surfaces or to third-party websites and source materials. Those destinations operate under their own terms, policies, and technical controls.

SternBench is not responsible for third-party websites, third-party content, or third-party services that are not operated by SternBench.

SternBench may update, suspend, withdraw, or revise the public website at any time. References to product features, workflows, coverage, and availability are informational and may change as the product family evolves.

SternBench may update these terms from time to time by posting the revised version on this page. Continued use of the public website after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

The public website is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. SternBench does not warrant that the public website will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SternBench disclaims warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement in relation to the public website and its content.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SternBench and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, data, or business opportunity arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the public website.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SternBench's total liability arising out of or related to the public website will not exceed one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD 100).

Access to SternBench Search, SternBench Research, or SternBench Assistant may be governed by separate service terms, privacy notices, acceptable-use rules, onboarding terms, or commercial agreements depending on the product involved.
