Scope

This policy applies to the public SternBench website at sternbench.com and to information submitted through the website's email contact path. It does not replace the separate privacy terms that apply on SternBench Search, SternBench Research, or SternBench Assistant where product workflows and data handling differ.

For this public website, 1577750 B.C. Ltd., doing business as SternBench, is the organization responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Questions can be directed to founder@sternbench.com.

Information we collect

If you contact SternBench by email, we may receive the information you choose to include in your message, such as your name, email address, firm, role, and the contents of your inquiry.

When you visit the public website, ordinary technical data may be generated and processed so the site can load and remain secure. This can include IP address, browser and device information, referring pages, timestamps, and basic request and response metadata.

The public website does not provide public user accounts, checkout, or in-site messaging. If that changes, the applicable notice should be updated before the new collection starts.

How we use information

We use contact information and correspondence to respond to inquiries, arrange demos, evaluate product-fit conversations, and maintain ordinary business records related to those communications.

We use technical and request data to host, deliver, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the public website.

Information submitted through this public website is not used to train AI models.

Because the public website is not currently set up around cross-site behavioral tracking, SternBench does not respond differently to browser Do Not Track signals. Third-party infrastructure providers may still process ordinary technical request data while delivering the site.

Retention

We keep contact emails and related correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the inquiry, manage follow-up, and maintain ordinary business records.

Technical logs and similar operational data may be retained for shorter or longer periods depending on security, uptime, troubleshooting, and legal needs.

International processing

The internet infrastructure used to host and deliver the public website may process information in more than one country. By using the public website or contacting SternBench, you understand that your information may be processed in jurisdictions outside your own.

You can choose not to contact SternBench by email, but doing so may limit our ability to respond to your inquiry or arrange a demo.
